For assignment 4, we are suppose to come up with a video that has a special effect that connotes a super hero ability, i.e. time freeze.. etc..etc.. As I'm not really proficient with Adobe After Effects, the hero's ability was kept to a minimum, with a simple to follow storyline.
so the story goes....
boyfriend receives an sms from his girlfriend whom he is suppose to meet now.
frantically thinking of a solution to not be late, he decides to use his 'ability' to stop time.
boyfriend stops time and gets ready, and reaches just in time to meet his girlfriend.
Constraints:
-basically equipment was a major constraint as the camcorder was borrowed, and studio lighting was not used
-another constraint was the usage of software, as they are relatively new to me.
Things learned:
-format is very important. we recorded in D-VR mode, which made conversion rather difficult.
